Christoval is a small community and does not have a local newspaper. Unfortunately, we do not get any coverage in the surrounding area newspapers. This is a spot where you can keep up with what is going on in Christoval, and keep track of upcoming events.
- Music for the Revival Aug 12-14
Folks, we have more details on the music lineup for the upcoming revival. These guys will Rock the River!
- Christoval River Ministry
Don’t forget the Christoval River Ministry in Pugh Park on Saturday. There will be live music, free barbeque and an inspiring message by Brother Clifton Brown. The festivities begin at 2:00 with free hot dogs. Live music and barbeque are at 4:00. Everyone is welcome, come as you are.
Don’t be afraid to wear your swim clothes and jump in the river. The water is cool and refreshing, and the rope swing is not that scary, once you get the hang of it.
We have had a wonderful time in the park this summer. Bring your kids, and be ready to get cooled off, have some great food and fellowship, and then a great message.
We will see you there!
- Revival at the Rope Swing
Don’t forget the upcoming revival in Pugh Park in Christoval August 12-14. We have 10 bands lined up that will provide live music throughout the weekend. There will be free BBQ and great fellowship. Visit Christoval Revival for more details.
- Day of Prayer and Fasting in Texas
Please remember that Governor Rick Perry has called for a day of prayer and fasting for Texas on Saturday, August 6. Christoval Baptist Church will be open on this day. Everyone is welcome to come and join in this time of prayer.
2 Chronicles 7:14
If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
