The 2007 Concho River Flood was the worst flood since the big one of 1936. Residents indicated that it was the first time the water actually flowed over the bridge above the low water crossing. The water also flooded to the top of the hill at Mineral Wells Crossing. Several houses in the area were flooded.
Mr. Custer is a long time Christoval resident, and he is known for many things, including his beautifully restored 1914 Case Tractor. The tractor runs, and he can be seen driving it around town on occasion.
Pugh Park is a favorite destination for local residents and visitors to Christoval. Pugh Park offers free access to the South Concho River, great shade, and wide, cool water to swim in. The photo album below shows recent fun in the park.
